Technician Responsibilities and Duties
- Parts Delivery
- Tube Brushing
- Coil Cleaning
- Changing filters
- Assist Technicians on Jobs
- Shop and Grounds Maintenance
- Willing and able to work overtime as needed
- Able to operate a company vehicle (clean driving record)
Technician Qualifications and Skills
- Must be a hardworking, dependable motivated team player that is willing/eager to learn and develop
- Must be enrolled in an accredited HVAC program
- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license
- Possess analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Must be punctual and adhere to a daily schedule with multiple appointments in different locations
- Basic computer skills and software knowledge
- Must have steel toe boots
- Must have a current HVAC instructor reference
- Follow instructions from supervisor and carry out in a timely manner
- Report problems with company tools or vehicle promptly
- Work well with customers, co-workers, and subcontractors
- Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Effective verbal, organizational, listening and written communications skills
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in preparing work orders, PO’s and timecards
